The course prepares the student for career positions in Computer User Support, Office Assistant, Help Desk Technician, Customer Service, Field Service Repair, Network Administrator, Web Design or Computer Trainer. This program teaches a thorough understanding of the personal computer; how they work, how they process data, and how to apply its functions to solutions of personal, business, and industrial problems. Training involves a combination of skill assignments and projects designed to provide students with actual job training experience. Students will obtain a working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, databases, programming, web design, system set-up, maintenance, diagnostics networking, and operating systems. It will assist in preparing the student for certifications in A+, and Net +, Security+, CCNA and various Microsoft Certifications.
